Description
Reeds to the right, the evening light in their frayed seed heads. Swaying in loud whispering waves, the pattern of the wind. And beyond, the sedges, low tussock hummock clumps of tubular leaves and stems between pools of wet. I reach down to feel the fine grain of them. Twine one around my finger.
